...A Troubling Scenario...

None of us ever imagined seeing Tyler’s mom the way we saw her that night. I thought that maybe we were looking at a ghost, but she... looked so alive. This is Lola, by the way. (
Tyler stood with more tears streaming down his face. He told me once that he thought he was gonna faint right then. I was so happy that his mom wasn’t dead... at least for the moment.
“Mom!” he cried, running to her and hugging her tightly.
“Tyler,” she said, hugging him back and kissing his head. “It’s so good to see you.”
“I thought you were dead,” he sobbed against her chest. “We thought you were dead.”
Her expression changed and she almost looked annoyed and uncomfortable. “I know,” she said a little less kind, “but it’s okay now. I’m not gonna leave you again. I promise.”
“I love you, Mom,” he cried, hugging her tighter.
“I love you even more, Tyler,” she said coldly before she injected something into his neck. He made a noise and then went limp in her arms.
“Tyler!” I screamed along with Samy and Andy.
“Take them,” she said calmly, dragging Tyler’s body to the van.
Strong arms grabbed my neck and made it turn sideways. “No..!” I hardly got that out as the needle stabbed into my neck. The last thing I remember was Andy and Samy screaming. ... After that, there was absolute silence and darkness.
